Meenakshi Chitharanjan performed her Arangetram in 1964 and since then has completed over 600 shows. She has performed extensively in India and abroad. Following are some of her important performances.

2005 - Germany at Indian Embassy Berlin.

2005 - UK-Nehru Centre, Indo Lankan Organisations, House of Commons,  Westminster Abbey.

2005 - Dubai.

2005 - China-Performed along with 7 students at the Silk Route Fair.

2003 --3 weeks tour of the middle east organized by ICCR. Countries visited: Kuwait, Egypt, Turkey, Oman and UAE.

2001 - Singapore – Indian Arts Society.

2000 -  Germany & Switzerland invited by the Indo-German Society.

           2000 -  London - Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan

1999 - Sri Lanka sent by I.C.C.R, Govt. of India.

1979 - Paris - UNESCO Conference.

          1979 - London - British Council.

          1979 - U.S.A - Invited by the Tamil Sangam of America.

1978 - Europe, Bulgaria, Romania, Germany & Yugoslavia sent by the Department of Culture, Government of India.

1978 - Nepal - Republic Day celebration sent by the Govt. of India
